Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.— 1 Timothy 4:12

Here at Calvary, we believe that our young people are not only our future, but a vital part of the church today. We are striving to help our students connect with Jesus in such a way that they are changed and equipped to go out and make a difference in their schools, community, and the world. We offer opportunities to help our students develop this relationship through weekly Bible study, missions trips, and fun fellowship. Our group consists of students from 6th to 12th grade. We thank God for the work He is doing in the young people here at Calvary and pray you will come be a part.

Students (6 to 12th grade) are meeting with the Fuqua, Harman, and Cannon Sunday School class at 10 am on Sunday mornings for Sunday School. The Youth Sunday School class has partnered with this Adult Sunday School class as they are reading through the Bible together. We encourage both the students and their parents to attend this Sunday School class, so that they can work together as they read through the Bible.

Students also meet on Sunday nights at 5:30 pm for Amplify. Currently, the parents of our Amplify students are facilitating a video series entitled, “Something Needs to Change: A Call to Make Your Life Count in a World of Urgent Need” by David Platt, for our Sunday evening service. The Sunday evening service time is from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM.  Please pray that this will strengthen our young people and encourage them to be faithful in their walk with the Lord. If you have any questions, or wish to become an Amplify Leader, please contact Pastor Jeff.
